About Me

Even the little things make a difference.

Joe Contreras graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California in Spring 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with an emphasis in Technology and Emerging Media, as well as a minor in both Theology and Journalism. He founded the Leadership and Theology with a Cup of Joe Podcast in May of 2019 and strives to empower his peers to be better leaders and believers in Christ. He served as the President of the Vanguard University Student Government Association for 2 years.

With over 12 years of experience as a sports public address announcer, he continues to desire more experience in the field of sports broadcasting/media. Joe is currently the public address announcer for the University of Pacific Basketball programs and Minor League Baseball’s Stockton Ports.
